You are invited to experience the Paul’s Photo Yosemite in Winter Photo Adventure. Wonderful scenery, fantastic locations and good friends make for a grand weekend. Mark Comon will provide the technical knowledge and inspiration, you provide the creative desire! Learn to produce great scenic images by practicing the rules of exposure, creative composition, proper lens selection and filter techniques. Great images and good times will be had by all. Each day provides a balance of photo opportunities and time for relaxation. Winter in Yosemite boasts ever changing weather, stunning rivers and a chance of snow!
Yosemite National Park in winter is a contrast of towering granite, ivory foregrounds and rushing water. The light, location and scenery will test the skills of the seasoned veteran or photographic novice. Learn to apply the lessons learned in the classroom. Yes, it will be cold but the photo opportunities are very hot!

Physical Expectations: Moderate. Must walk 1 mile thru snow. Winter hiking boots required

Recommended Accommodations: Yosemite Lodge. Room reservation is held as a group only.

Room charges due to Paul’s with final payment. Rate: $158 Thursday $188 Friday & Saturday You are free to camp or make other accommodations.

Adventure Packet with “what to bring and where to go” distributed after final payment is made.

The Adventure begins with lunch on the first day and concludes after breakfast on the final day. Please assure your prompt arrival on the first day and your ability stay for the entire Adventure.

Cost of the Adventure is $550 per photographer or $750 per couple. Price includes instruction and 2 meals. Adventure limited to eighteen photographers. Lodging, transportation and other meals are not included.
